Description
An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) provides a measure of the effect of heating and cooling system performance in residential and commercial dwellings. An EPC provides this standardised information to consumers on buildings they plan to purchase or rent, and is valid for a duration of 10 Years unless no major renovations are initiated during that time period.
In Malta, An EPC can only be carried out by certified Energy Performance of Buildings (EPB) assessors registered with the Building and Construction Authority (BCA).
